- Hello there. I am Denise. I will not disclose my last name for various purposes, thought the idea of someone stealing my social security number is rather amusing, considering I don’t even know it. Nor do I possess anything of interest to steal. I was unfortunately born in the wrong year, or more so that my addiction to make up has matured quite faster than I. My want and yearns and needs for cosmetics rivals that of a grown woman. Except she probably has more money than me. So I’ll just sit here at my laptop, not trying to compete with these full fledged, superior makeup-aholics and try to be at least interesting enough to be worth reading. Because honestly, why else do you read make up blogs? I do mainly to see swatches and reviews. My blog will be severely lacking in this. Thus, I’ll try to charm you with my (lack of) wit and charm, and perhaps throw in some other tidbits. I’m a mish-mash of kitsch, a plethora of eccentricities. I’ll try to provide people with interesting things to read, do, and think about. Maybe I’ll change your life, your way of thinking … or not(hey, it’s nice to dream). Sometimes I suck, I know. Sometimes I go off on tangents, I know, it’s ok.

ReplyDeleteReminds me of a line in one of my favourite old comedies, Blackadder, where one guy says to another 'do you have any idea what irony is?' and he replies 'yeah, it's like goldy and bronzey only it's made of iron'.
